Things are always happening in the shop…
  • Don’t know what to do with these just yet…but I’ll figure it out
  • In memory of my mentor and Spanish national treasure, Jose Romanillos who passed away in February. He was kind enough to send me his book on Torres in 2004 with this gracious note.
  • Finally cutting my old ivory
  • Look who I ran into on vacation!….A hand painted mural in Port Isabel, Texas
  • Jimmy Wallace 335 neck repair
  • 1 pound wash coat after complete binding
  • Blocking primer and the final dimples are removed prior to base primer…
  • 7 coats and counting
  • 2 weeks for curing and then rub and buff
  • It is a 1971 VW Superbeetle under restoration as a driver!
