Created on: 28 Apr 2020
Corona boredom let to this project to build a guitar out of stuff from Home Depot...maybe I’ll donate it to be auctioned for LINT
  • Yes, it’s 1/8 Masonite...looks like the same Masonite they sell in Brazil
  • Straight grain pine with plywood reinforcement and spines with threaded insert
  • Poplar with cedar fence tie block and white corian scrap from Home Depot counter top cut offs
  • Strait grained poplar...ugly but might look better stained
  • Quartered Red Oak from a broken pallet in the scrap bin at Lowes
  • Quartered wester red cedar fence pickets for the top
  • South American Masonite bindings
  • Spray can lacquer with shellac top
  • A cedar fence picket made the top, shelf plank made the sides and back. A quartered pine plank made the neck.
  • Done! Now to sell it and donate to the Disabled Veterans of America
